You will trip to some mystical places including Cusco the historic capital of Peru, the amazing Inca land in Sacred Valley and the mysterious lost city of Machu Picchu. This great wonder of the world is located in the eastern side of the Andes between the cloud- forest. You also will have the opportunity of exploring the city of the kings Lima, the capital of Peru.
At your arrival to Lima airport, our representative will be waiting for you with sign that says “Top Peru Trips” and your name clearly marked on it. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in our private transport. The journey from the airport to the hotel will take approximately 1 hour.
After your arrival at the hotel, our representative will assist you with the check-in. You will have a brief introduction about the itinerary for the following day and some recommendations about the location of the hotel, restaurants, banks and major places to visit. We have no planned activities for the day. So you can relax or walk in some places around the hotel.
Today you will have the opportunity to enjoy a good breakfast which is included at the Hotel. The scheduled hours for the breakfast are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. After breakfast, you will have all the morning free to rest and relax before you start with the exploration of Lima.
In the afternoon after lunch, we will pick you up and then start with our guided tour of the essential Lima, “The City of Kings”. You will be able to visit and explore architectural sites of the city: The Main Square, Government Palace, City Hall, cathedral and Archbishop’s Palace. We will continue our tour with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectural jewel dating back to the 16th century.
On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial center of the city. Finally we will finish our tour in Mira Flores, where we will visit the “Parque Del Amor” (Love Park) an excellent place to have a great view of the sea. The tour takes approximately 3 ½ hours
After an ealrly breakfast at the Hotel. At the scheduled time, you will be transported to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival in Cusco, we will transfer you to the hotel. Where you can enjoy a free afternoon to get acclimated to the altitude or rest. There are no planned activities so you will have free time to relax or explore some places in the down town on your own.
After a nice breakfast at the hotel, you will have the morning free to relax and get ready for the next excursion.
At the appropriate time, we will pick you up and start our sightseeing tour. We will explore Cusco, the Imperial City. Cusco is a living example that is made up of a mixture of Andean and Spanish culture. The tour will begin with the visit of Santo Domingo Convent, built over Qoricancha, the ancient main Inca Sun Temple, known for its stunning architecture.
Next stop will be at the Main Square and then we go outside of the city to see Sacsayhuaman Fortress. which is a great sample of the marvelous Inca architecture. We will finish our visits exploring other great archaeological sites as: Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Then come back to the city
After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel at 8:15a.m. We will drive toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will stop at Mirador of Taray to take in the view of the Urubamba valley. The crops dress the mountains like carpets. We will arrive at the traditional market of Pisac. Where we will have free time to shop and interact with the local craftsmen.
We will continue to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a quaint town of Inca foundation with remarkable water channels, stone streets, colorfully dressed native people and the impressive fortress on the hill, with the exceptional Sun Temple on the top.
In the evening, you will have the train to the town of Aguas calientes. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up and escorted to your hotel. The journey by train takes approximately one hour and forty minutes.
Early in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up and you will board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will be able to participate in a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, Sun Temple, Royal Palace, Temple of the Three Windows, Main temple, Sacred Rock and some interesting places.
It will be an unforgettable experience at this mysterious and magical place, considered one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. After the guided tour, you will have time to admire this amazing place.
In the afternoon, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train back to Cusco. Upon your arrival in Cusco, you will be transported to your hotel.
The journey by train takes approximately three hours and forty minutes.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We will pick you up at the scheduled time and transport you to the Cusco airport for your departure flight to Lima.
