Upon your arrival to the airport of Cusco. You will be greeted by our representative and then transferred to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is free to get acclimate to the altitude. There are no planned activities for this day. Optional to walk around and explore some of the fascinating Inca streets in the downtown of Cusco.
You will have free morning to relax at the hotel or acclimate to the altitude. At the scheduled time we will come and pick you up from the hotel. Then start our sightseeing tour of Cusco the marvelous Inca capital City.
We begin the tour visiting Qoricancha, the ancient Inca Sun Temple in Cusco. There will be time to walk around the down town to see some of the beautiful Inca streets. Outside of the city awaits for us Sacsayhuaman an impressive Inca temple. You will also visit another great sites as Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. The tour takes Approximately 4 hours. To the end of the excursion you will drive back to Cusco city.
You will be picked up in your hotel in Cusco. At 8:00 a.m to start the drive toward the beautiful Sacred Valley. On the way to Pisac we will stop at the lookout of Taray to take in the amazing view of the Urubamba valley. You will spend some time at Pisac ruins. This is one of great sites in the Sacred Valley tour. Passing by Pisac town, we will drive to Urubamba, where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo. A quaint town of Inca foundation with formidable water channels, stone streets and the Sun Temple on the top of the fortress.
In the evening, you will catch the train to connect to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival the transfer will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in.
At the scheduled time the guide will lead you to the bus station. Then you will have a short bus drive to the gate of Machu Picchu. Afterwards there will be a short hike to the top. Where you have the chance to take the best classic pictures. Then our expert guide will show you some great places as: the Sun temple, Sun Dial, Royal palace, Temple of the Three Windows and the Main temple.
At the appropriate time you will take the bus to Aguas Calientes. After lunch you take the train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival to the train station, you will be transferred to the hotel in Cusco.
The journey by train takes approximately three hours and forty minutes. Then you get to Poroy station and our transfer will take back to Cusco hotel.
At the scheduled time our transfer will take you to the airport of Cusco. So you take your flight to Lima.
